How NMIMS CDOE Started?
NMIMS was established to meet the need for skilled managers in India. The first batch of students in the MBA program had only 40 students. Over time, the university became popular for its management education. In 2003, NMIMS was recognized as a “Deemed to be University,” which allowed it to expand its courses beyond just business studies. Since then, NMIMS has introduced programs in various fields like engineering, law, and technology.
To fulfil the increasing aspirations of youths encompassing students from urban and rural regions towards quality learning, the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) set up a Centre for Distance and Online Education. Eligibility Criteria For All Distance Programs
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for NMIMS CDOE distance programs:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) in any stream from any University recognized by the Indian University Grant Commission (UGC ) or any other degree recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- 50% marks in the Graduation (45% marks for SC/ST/ OBC/PH candidates).
